🕯️ THE AUTHOR — FR. AUGUSTINUS VON TRIER

Once hailed as one of the Vatican’s most brilliant minds, Fr. Augustinus von Trier (1542–1607) was a scholar who sought to unify the sacred and the scientific. Fluent in Latin, Aramaic, and Coptic, he served as an advisor to the Congregation of the Index — the body responsible for banning dangerous texts.

Ironically, his own work became the most dangerous of them all.

In his final years, Augustinus wrote obsessively about “a perfect symmetry that exists between the laws of heaven and the anatomy of the human soul.” His writings suggested that the structure of divine creation could be decoded — an idea the Church deemed heretical.
He was removed from his post, his manuscript sealed in the Archive, and his name erased from all official records.

Only fragments survived… until now.
